Hair artistry and hairdressing have always been very popular in the industry and so has makeup artistry, but combine the two together and you’l be HIGHLY employable!
As the demand for hair and makeup becomes more and more desirable in today’s beauty industry, it is a REALLY smart idea to get yourself trained in both skills.
It used to be that training in one specific industry was enough to get you a great career but as more and more people are getting these treatments done, its very evident that being cross trained is what the majority of employers are looking for at the minute.
It’s not just salons and spas that are seeking cross trained artists but also the film industry! You only have to look at casting calls for soaps etc and see that they are wanting someone who can create both hair AND makeup.
Here at College of Media & Artistry, we have noticed this demand and have created a new course that will help you to become a Makeup and a hair specialist, making you ready for work once you complete the course!
